Gelince Haber VerThis work has been prepared for beginner cellists. In the proposed pieces, the instrumental and technical difficulties are reduced to the maximum possible so that the attention of students can be directed to the problems of the ensemble performance. The tonalities have been selected in such a way, firstly, to avoid unnecessary transitions between positions, and secondly, to make the fingering as convenient as possible for beginner musicians.
The first part of the book includes only pieces in the first, mainly in the closed position of the left hand. All pieces are easy and short enough to avoid pinching and fatigue of the performers’ hands. These pieces can be recommended for students in their first year of study.
The second part consists of pieces that include the first four positions in the closed and stretch positions of the left hand, and a more complex rhythmic and melodic patterns compared to the first part. Pieces from this part can be recommended for performance by students in their second and subsequent years of study.
I wish all novice musicians a long and happy creative life in the art of music.
