Don’t be surprised by these contrasts it is actually quite normal that there is such a quantity and such a wide variety of opinions about leadership, which is an immeasurable value.
Dr. Hayri Baraçlı: He was born in Fatih, İstanbul, in 1966. He graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Industrial Engineering in 1989, and completed his Master’s degree and doctoral studies at the University’s Institute of Science. Starting his academic career as a research assistant in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Yıldız Technical University in 1990, Dr. Baraçlı concurrently taught at the Air Force Academy between 1998 and 2007. Since 1999, he has been serving as a Faculty Member at Yıldız Technical University.
Working as the General Manager of Istanbul’s Electricity, Tramway and Tunnel General Management (İETT) from 2009-2014, Dr. Baraçlı was appointed as the General Secretary of Istanbul ‘s Metropolitan Municipality in May 2014. He is also a member of Presidential Council of Local Administrations Policies.
